Doughnut Cook Position


Our bakery is looking for hard-working, self-motivated person(s) to join our overnight doughnut production team! Our doughnut production team is the heartbeat of our establishment and we pride ourselves in providing the best quality doughnuts for our guests! The right candidate would demonstrate all the necessary skills one needs to work with a team including hard-working, self-motivated, and enthusiasm!

-Must be over 18 years old

-Willing to work in a team atmosphere but also be able to independently motivate

-Must be able to keep workstations clean and sanitary, including closing down the area at the end of shift for the day shift to start

– Position requires upper body repetitive motion (frying doughnuts) and some heavy lifting at times (50-pound ingredient bags)

– Produce our doughnuts as well as assist with the finishing process.


– This position requires employees to be on their feet throughout their shift. (with scheduled 30 minute and 15 min break if desired)

– Reliable transportation (A Must)

– Able to multi-task

-Love working in a family-friendly atmosphere

Position Overview: Currently this position is 30-40 hours a week until early Spring. From the Spring until October this position will move to 40+ hours a week. If skills and abilities are consistent, positive, and team focused then increase in salary is probable.

*Paid time off compounds on day one and available after waiting period.

Starting Pay is $16.00. Opportunities available for an increase for employees who are responsible, can work independently, and show initiative to grow with Congdon’s.

Applicants will be eligible for an end of season bonus of $1,000 if the following expectations are met; Must work an average 30 hours each week, must be reliable and show up for all scheduled shifts, must have the skills to preform the job after training. End of season is Labor Day, Monday September 6th. The bonus would be paid out on the following pay check.
